On the occasion of the traditional Khmer New Year Festival, Year of the Horse, B.E. 2570, which is nearing, Techo International Airport (KTI) held a ceremony to honor and celebrate the blessings of prosperity and happiness as a greeting for the old year and to welcome the Khmer traditional New Year, within the presence of Lok Neak Oknha Dr. Pong Keavse and Oknha Dr. Pung Carolyne, with participation from government officials, airline companies, leading business professionals, and all levels of staff serving at the airport.

This New Year celebration will continue from April 10 to April 12, 2026, featuring popular Khmer games such as “Chol Chhoung,” “Boh Angkunh,” and “Tug of war” as well as performances of traditional music and local product display. Additionally, on April 12, there will be a special event as the grand prize draw for the first phase of the campaign “Celebrating the New Era of Cambodia’s Aviation,” which includes a shiny new GTV KAIN car, a Huawei Nova 13 Pro smartphone, a Huawei Watch Fit 4, a television, a refrigerator, and many other prizes.

This special program is designed to incentivize and recognize customers and travelers who spend more than $30 at the airport, providing them with a ticket to participate in the event scheduled for April 12. Additionally, the prize draw will be held again in October during the anniversary celebration of Techo International Airport, featuring the grand prize of a residence at Terra TIA City, located in close proximity to the airport.
