November 2025, Kandal, Cambodia — Less than two months since its official opening on 9 September 2025, Techo International Airport (KTI) is celebrating a strong start with the launch of its first-ever Lucky Draw Campaign, inviting travelers and visitors to take part in a year-long celebration featuring exclusive prizes, including a house unit, car, hotel stays, and more.
Kandal Province, June 22, 2020 – Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, visited the construction site of the new Phnom Penh International Airport, located in Kandal Steung district, Kandal province.
Kandal Province, March 12, 2024 – Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, presided over a meeting and conducted an inspection of the ongoing construction of the Techo International Airport, a 4F-class facility now under development.
On the morning of June 9, 2025, Samdech Preah Maha Somethadhipati Dr. Om Lim Heng, Supreme Patriarch and Head of the Mohanikaya of Cambodia, presided over the “Buddha Statue Consecration Ceremony” at Techo International Airport. This event marks the installation of a sacred Buddha statue at the airport as a spiritual symbol dedicated to the Nation, Religion, and King, and to serve as a meaningful place of reverence for both domestic and international travelers.
