Expanding Air Connectivity and Supporting Tourism

With support from the State Secretariat of Civil Aviation (SSCA) and the Embassy of Vietnam in Cambodia,
CAIC and Vietnam Airlines will work together under the agreement to expand air links between Cambodia
and Vietnam and make travel through Techo International Airport more convenient. They will assess
opportunities for additional flights to Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, explore new routes and improve onward
connections through Vietnam Airlines’ international network. The partnership is intended to give travellers
more choices while supporting tourism, business travel and closer ties between Cambodia and Vietnam.

Beyond route development, the partnership will include joint promotion and staff training, bringing the airport
and airline teams into closer cooperation. The exchange of operational knowledge will help improve
passenger service and support a smoother travel experience, while joint campaigns will promote Cambodia
to a wider international audience and encourage more visitors to travel through Techo International Airport.

This partnership reflects Techo International Airport’s role in contributing to expand Cambodia’s air
connectivity and opening the country to more destinations around the world. Through its cooperation with
Vietnam Airlines, Techo International Airport aims to offer passengers more travel choices and easier
access to the airline’s international network.
