Whether you're departing or arriving, Techo International Airport offers transparent and secure baggage service at every stage. Please review the guidelines below to ensure a smooth experience and avoid unnecessary charges.

On Arrival – Baggage Claim

After completing immigration, proceed to the Baggage Delivery Hall:

• Check the screens for the correct carousel corresponding to your flight.
• In case of lost, delayed, or damaged baggage, contact our Lost & Found Service located within the hall. Our team is ready to assist you.

On Departure – Baggage Regulations

Baggage Size & Weight

Each airline sets its own baggage policy. Before packing, confirm your airline’s rules for size and weight to avoid extra charges or confiscation.

General Guideline:

• Hold Luggage (Checked-In Luggage)
  • Max dimensions: 158 cm total (L+W+H)
  • Max weight: 23 kg per bag (usually)
  • Special equipment (golf clubs, surfboards, etc.) may incur extra fees—check with your airline.

• Hand Luggage (Carry-On)
  • Max dimensions: 55 × 35 × 20 cm
  • Max weight: 8–10 kg (varies by airline)
  • Intended for essential personal items—laptops, tablets, cameras, valuables.
  • Typically allowed: one cabin bag per passenger; some airlines permit a small accessory too. Infants under 2 may bring additional baby items.

Prohibited Items

• In Checked Luggage:

  • Explosives, ammunition, fireworks

  • Radioactive, corrosive, toxic, flammable substances

  • Compressed/magnetic gases
     

• In Cabin Luggage:

  • All items prohibited in checked baggage

  • Liquids, aerosols, and gels >100 ml

Sharp/blunt objects and imitation weapons
 

• Liquid rules: Containers must be ≤100 ml and stored in a single transparent resealable bag (max 20 × 20 cm), one per passenger.
• Exceptions: Baby food, essential liquid medicine (with prescription), duty-free liquids post-security, insulin (with prescription) are allowed. E-cigarettes can be carried in the cabin but may not be used onboard.
   

Self-Service E-Bag Drop

In addition to Early Bag, we offer self-service E-Bag Drop kiosks—

1. Use the kiosk to print bag tags after check-in.
2. Place your luggage on the conveyor at the automated drop station.
3. Your bag is weighed, measured, and transferred to baggage handling.
    

Final Tips Before You Fly:

• Check with your airline for baggage limits, opening/closing times, and specific Early Bag availability.

• Label your bags clearly with your name and contact info.

• Pack prohibited items securely, and comply with liquid regulations.

• Double-check drop-off times, especially before boarding, to avoid delays.
